Played principally jazz standards in the early 80's, instant composition in the late 80's and different forms of improvisation and composition since 1990. Member of different groups of Giancarlo Schiaffini. Plays(ed) with Lester Bowie, Markus Eichenberger, Paolo Fresu, Christoph Gallio, Steve Grossmann, Barney Kessel, Hans Koch, Joëlle Léandre, Mike Melillo, Evan Parker, Antonello Salis, Irene Schweizer, Ernst Thoma, Sebi Tramontana, Urs Voerkel, Bobby Watson.
